Hi, friends! My name is Caroline and I'm so glad you're here!
The dream of this blog has been on my heart for a while now and I couldn't be more excited that it is now coming to life! I have so many hopes and dreams for what this blog and community could become!The idea is simple - the sharing of ideas, stories and goods for "the making of a happy home". This could include: marriage, parenting, DIY, home decor, traveling, business, art, organization, and just stories from real life for a laugh or to remember that we're not alone. As a wife and mom, my day to day goals are to create a home that fosters love, joy, peace, and hope for my family. I want them to be happy. I want them to laugh. I want them to feel safe and confident. I want them to feel free to be who they are and grow into who they are meant to be. And I want to have all the knowledge, tools and experience that I can have in order to do my part to make that happen.
I realize that "the making of a happy home" can look different for everyone, so I'm hoping to welcome many guest writers to my blog, as well as sharing from my own heart and life. I've learned so much from talking to other women along the way, whether getting advice, sharing stories, or just laughing at the realization that we're all in this together and I'm not the first or only person to go through whatever I'm going through. Coming soon is the debut of the "The Happy Home Collective Etsy Shop", where I will have a collection of handmade decor and other beautiful goods (some made by me, and some made by lovely friends of mine) that I hope will bring color and happiness to your home and life.
